The located Caves in the municipality of Nerja are situated in the most Oriental part of the province of Málaga , belonging to the Costa del Sol and limiting on the province of Granada through Almuñécar , also a village at the Costa del Sol . On one’s way through there is the historical and pictorial village of Frigiliana .

The referenced caves consist of lakes and chambers ( halls ) where on its ceilings hang calcareous ( stalactite and stalagmite ) formations that almost meet others on the ground . Concerts and ballet spectacles are organized inside the caves of Nerja .
